Challenge

The site needed to deliver live, frequently updated data such as course status, webcam feeds, rates, and tee time availability through a performant, responsive interface. It also had to showcase visual content, including flyovers and course galleries, highlight amenities clearly, and enable staff to efficiently manage and update content.

The
Solution

Collaborating closely with the Boleyn Media Group's design and project management team, I led the full-stack development of the Golf & Recreation website using WordPress, Elementor, and Advanced Custom Fields (ACF), translating the design directly from Figma, combining visual flexibility with a maintainable backend. The site features dynamic course status updates, structured scorecards and stats, and immersive hole-by-hole flyovers with a photo gallery. Navigation was carefully organized to highlight key areas such as rates, pro shop, leagues, membership, and dining, while custom content fields allow the Golf & Recreation team to efficiently manage stats, galleries, and promotions. Fully responsive and performance-optimized, the site delivers fast load times and seamless functionality across devices, even on media-rich pages.
