The site needed to unify multiple stakeholders, handle high traffic, and present a wide range of regional information in a clear, visually engaging way. It also had to provide administrators with straightforward tools to manage content and events without requiring advanced technical knowledge.

Solution

Collaborating with the the Boleyn Media Group's Project Manager and Designer, I led the full-stack development of the Tourism Travel website using WordPress with Elementor as the base builder, enhanced with Advanced Custom Fields (ACF) for structured content management. For interactivity, I implemented a Thrive Quiz to help visitors discover relevant trip ideas. Complex listings were managed using GravityView, allowing dynamic, database-driven content to be displayed in a user-friendly way. Event management was handled through The Events Calendar, making it easy for admins to create and showcase events with images and details. The site also includes a Stakeholder Portal, Shop Listings, Itinerary Listings, Accommodation Listings, News, and an FAQ page. This combination of tools ensured scalability, responsive design, SEO optimization, and ease of maintenance critical for a site serving both local and international visitors.
