Statamic | Shopify | HubSpot
PODS
The
Challenge
The client, a maker of lactation, workplace and wellness pods, was rebranding and replacing its existing site. The new site had to show product lines and products with a Shopify cart and checkout, alongside resources, news, legal resources, team and testimonials. Gated spec sheets and a large product catalog had to reach the right people, forms had to feed HubSpot, and marketing consent had to follow privacy law. It was also Takt's first Statamic site launched on its own server, and my first Statamic build.
The
Solution
As lead developer, I learned Statamic and built the site over five sprints. I integrated Shopify for products, product lines, the cart and checkout, and built the full set of page modules and collections. I connected the forms to HubSpot, designed one workflow that handles every gated document now and in the future, and sent documents as links because corporate mail servers strip large attachments. Transactional emails go through Resend, and HubSpot only receives the contact and their opt-in answer. My automated form checks caught a change that made marketing consent a condition of contacting sales, which is not allowed under GDPR, and I fixed it. I planned DNS, SSL and launch sequencing and flagged the risks early.
The
Result
The client is "really really happy", and the project had the lowest number of QA and client review tickets our project manager had seen on any project. The client has offered to act as a reference for Takt.
